The Travelstar 7K200 harddrive from Hitachi is a 3.5 inch SATA drive which runs at 7200RPM. 5 capacities are available which are 80GB, 100GB, 120GB, 160GB and 200GB. What sets this drive apart from all the other harddrives available is that it is claimed by Hitachi to be the worlds fastest hard drive. The drive can transfer data at a maximum of 876MBps and has a 16MB data buffer.
The drive will be available soon, but no pricing is available yet. With transfer speeds like that it would be a great option to go for if you need to transfer data quickly on your PC. Just for your information, this drive is 22% faster then the previous model.
