G.Skill launches Falcon SSDs

G.Skill are launching their latest SSD’s in to the market. The Falcon range of SSD’s are SATA II 2.5″ drives that have capacities of 64GB, 128GB or 256GB.

G.Skill claim that this new range of Falcon SSD’s have the best read/write performance and stability due to a 64MB DRAM buffer. This prevents OS stutter from happening.

The numbers claimed by G.Skill show a read/write performance of 230/190 MBps on the 2 larger capacity SSD’s while the lower capacity has 230/135MBps. A mixture of these speeds and a +2.5 million hour MTBF rating make them also reliable from failure. A 2 year warranty is included just incase you do happen to stumble upon a bad drive.
