Chrome OS has been seen a number of times since it was officially unveiled recently. A few ways were quickly revealed which allowed you to run Chome OS on a netbook by booting from a USB flash drive along with setting up a VM to run an image. Shortly after being able to run the code on a VM or from a flash drive we then heard that a Google Chrome netbook was going to be launched. At the time of writing not much at all was known about the chrome OS netbook other than some speculation of Google opting for an ARM processor instead of an Intel Atom.
Information has been revealed by IBTimes (not official) that says the Chrome Netbook will get an ARM processor along with NVIDIA Tegra graphics. The screen will measure 10.1 inches and support multi-touch. For storage a 64GB SSD will be used and the device will have all the usual options such as USB ports, Webcam, WiFi along with 3G connectivity. 2GB of RAM will also be found in the netbook.
Speculation says the pricing will be sub $300 with perhaps a model shipping around the $200 mark. Some of the pricing might be subsidised by 3G carriers.
Please note that the information is not official (as the post title says leaked), so official specs could be completely different.
