Google Android on a Netbook?

asus android Google Android on a Netbook? When you think of Google Android you probably first think of the new mobile phone OS that is starting to become popular. However, it no longer will be used just for mobile phones as Asus could be launching a netbook powered by Android.

Asus are well known for netbooks as the Eee PC was the one that seemed to kickstart the smaller sized laptops in to becoming mainstream. Now, Asus have a team of people working on getting Android to run on their netbook and we could be seeing it sometime this year.

This is fantastic news and if pulled off successfully I could see many other netbook developers such as Dell, HP and Acer going down the same route by offering it as an alternative to Linux and Windows based devices.
