Google Ambient Clock

Google Ambient Clock
The Google Ambient Clock uses a code set up to help you with your daily schedule. The clock syncronises with your Google calendar and will show various colours depending on the importance of your event. The clock receives it's updates via the ambient network which means you do not have to have it any where near your PC. What else is good about the clock is that the google calendar can import from any calendar such as Outlook.

How does it work?

On the above picture we can see that the current time is 7:51. You have a meeting from 9 - 10:30am and the dots between 8am and 9am represent that it will take you about 1 hour to get to your appointment, meaning that you need to leave at 8am. The ETA is worked out by you putting the address of where you are attending the meeting and then it works out with the help of Google maps how long it will take you to get there.
