Fring
For those who are not able to access Three Mobiles X-Series service to use Skype then Fring have the answer for you. Fring is a mobile VoIP application that allows you to make voice calls on your mobile phone. It is compatible with VoIP providers such as Skype, MSN, Google Talk and allows you to call through one simple interface. The service usually works best if your mobile is wifi capable, but will work on any service such as GPRS and 3G although we recommend you check your usage charges first. According to their website, Fring can roam seamlesly between wifi and 3G networks which will be interesting to see happen. When making a call you are presented with an option to do Voice (your regular way of calling, Video (another regular way of calling) or by using VoIP.

With data getting cheaper and wifi networks becoming more popular the mobile market needs to do some shifting around and make way for more VoIP services. This is what people want and no doubt it will become standard service soon.
