Over at geardiary I spotted some nice shots of the FlyBook VM which has a nice adjustable screen as seen above. When closed it looks like your average laptop but when it opens the screen lifts open for a nice viewing angle not seen often (or even ever) on a regular laptop computer. This is also a benifit to those who fly as the screen can come closer towards you for when the nasty thing happens and the person infront wants to put their seat back. The technical specs are standard but still good.
The screen is 12.1″ running at 1280 x 768. It has a DVD R DL, comes with 1 or 2Gb RAM, 128 Mb video RAM, 30Gb hard disk and looks like it will be great in portability for those frequent travelers. The cost for one of these is 2878.63 dollars and they are shipping on the 20th December 2006.
