Dvorak Uncensored are reporting that a new device designed to block didigtal cameras in secure areas has been created by the Georgia Institute of Technology. The device uses off the shelf components such as a sensor, projector and a laptop and then scan for digital cameras and neutralise them. The system works by scanning for image reflections from the sensors used in cameras.
I am not sure this will be as swish I was expecting... rather then a burst of light from the projector to blank out the pictures as they are taking. Still cool though!
