Verizon have launched an interesting campaign that seems to take a huge attack on what the iPhone cant do. The campaign is called DroidDoes and lists a bunch of things that the iPhone cant do such as iDont have a real keyboard, iDont run customise, iDont have a removable battery… the list goes on.
We posted a few shots of the Droid handset that Verizon are referring to (thanks to BGR) and I have to say the new Android 2.0 operating system running on the phone looks just fantastic. All the features that are extra compared to 1.5 and even 1.6 are great. Facebook is now native, Exchange is fully supported to just name two of the enhancements.
If you want more details then get yourself on to the Droid Does website and sign up to show your interest. The Droid handset is launching 30 October which isn’t too far away. I can’t wait to see how it performs vs other handsets.

This phone has a feature called “Car Home” which offers drivers shortcuts for functions you might need while driving- a feature that is as stupid as it is dangerous!
Instead of coming up with useless features they could have given it a tad more thought and come up with something better, like a feature that saves your favorites and keeps them only as far as a click away. Or maybe a one-hand operated device? Now those are features!
