This new ultraportable notebook from Dospara looks very nice. It has a 13.3" WXGA widescreen display with a DVD muilt drive. It boasts an Intel Core Duo T2300E running at 1.66Ghz. It has half a gig of RAM, 80Gb HDD, USB 2.0, Firewire, 802.11 a/b/g wi-fi and a card reader for a nice $1324. It is available in Japan but no information yet of it's availability over this way.
