The Domia X10 is a cool device allowing you to take remote control of your home. It costs under 200 pounds and is an interesting idea. After a second glance at the picture you will notice it isnt actually a screen. The device has the touch screen on the front and you display your own picture behind it. A template system is provided to allow you to take a photo of your home and define the touch points on the screen. You can then program these points by holding down the points on your image for 5 seconds. One example might be a ceiling fan which is captured in your picture. You can create this in to a touch zone to then allow you to control the fan from the Domia.
The system uses X10 codes to communicate with a transceiver module which is what allows you to take over your home. For under 200 pounds you can get one of these unique remote controls and configure it just as you want it.
