Junyi Heo has created a nice little digital plantpot concept. The digital screen on the front of the pot is not just for decorative features. It actually lets you know the status of your plant, ie, it’s health and a number of other factors to help you determine how it’s going.
Items measures are soil conditions, temperature, humidity and water. The face on the front of the pots LCD screen then depicts the “mood” of the plant.
Other features to help you raise that perfect plant include an automatic drain system which lets water out of the soil should you fill it up too much. If you like to analyse data then the option to download it to your PC is available.
A mixture of this and the USB fish tank would be perfect for me!

The only two plants I have ever kept alive were a spider plant (which is still alive now from when I was about 5) and a venus fly trap that was half dead when I got it and now it’s turning in to the little shop of horrors in my kitchen. That one is alive and kicking. Everything else just dies, so this would be real handy.
This will be great for my office plant because I always forget to look after it!
