The Dell Wireless 5700 card has been released. It integrates Verizon EVDO and is on special offer from Dell at $179 which allows you to use Verizon free for 30 days.
What is EVDO? It means "Evolution-Data Optimized" and is a wireless technology which allows high speed connections to the internet using the Verizon Wireless network. It allows you to connect with out a wireless hotspot from anywhere. An unlimited subscription costs just $80 a month which is not a bad amount. If you currently subscribe to Verizon then it is even less at $59.99 per month.
