The Dell Vostro A90 has now been launched in the US. It starts at $349 and comes with a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor.
Other technical features include memory (up to 1GB), a 16GB SSD, Intel GMA950 graphics and a 0.3 megapixel webcam. Connectivity wise it has wireless 802.11g, Bluetooth and wired Ethernet. The screen measures 8.9 inches and is in the usual widescreen format with a 1024 x 600 resolution.
An option of Windows XP or Unbutu is available depending on the options you select. I do have to say that I am not exactly sure where this netbook fits in to their range though as it just seems like a cut down Dell Mini 9.
