Dell are launching 3 new Vostro laptops named the Vostro 1014, 1015 and 1088. They come from the same range that the All-in-One PC's do and have either a 14.6" or 15.6" screen. Each have Intel Core 2 processors with options showing up to 4GB of RAM with a 320GB hard drive.
An optional 2 megapixel webcam can be chosen as well as an optional 5-in-1 card reader.
The 1015 has WiFi at up to draft N speeds. The screen is energy efficient and uses WLED and has an anti-glare coating. The screen also runs at HD resolutions. The new Vostro laptops will run various Windows 7 installs such as the Business, Home Premium and Home Basic 32-bit versions. Other options are Ubuntu Linux and FreeDOSTM.
Details of the new range of Vostro laptops should show up on the Dell site shortly. Currently just the 1015 is listed on this page (You might need to change the country to the UK to see the 1015). Also try this page, again with UK page settings.
The 1015 that is listed starts at £235 in the UK for the basic model.
