If you max out the options on this PC you will get yourself a Core 2 Quad Processor with 4GB of RAM, a 750GB harddisk, 6 USB ports, integrated webcam at 1.3 megapixels, an NVIDIA GeForce 9400 graphics card and a Blu-ray player. Not bad at all! The screen measures 18.5 inches and has a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels.

The Dell Studio One 19 starts at around $1538 at today’s exchange rate although when it arrives in the US the base model seems to be around the $699 range although you need to factor in that the base model has no touchscreen, no blu-ray, not as much ram, slower processor etc…

This is a weak attempt to mimic the iMac, as many others have attempted to do. In spite of the multitouch screen, its nothing but a knock-off. I don’t have it, but Its pretty obvious by its appearance who its older brother is.

I’m sorry Rose, but I disagree entirely. The StudioOne and the iMac are not running the same operating system and probably won’t be running any of the same programs. If Dell were just trying to make a “knock-off”, they’d have done it years ago when the iMac first came out. Basically, your argument could be said about any computer that wasn’t the first to exist. After all, isn’t it obvious that the iPhone, in spite of it’s multitouch screen, is nothing but a knock-off of the Blackberry?
