Hi there ive been trying to get my hands on the cri-cri for two years now and i have not yet been able to.
please if anyone is able i will trully appreciate it a great deal. im on my knees yes what else must i do. come on gents help if you are able. please contact me at any time.

I wounder if it is possible and perhaps easier and more practicle to build a Cri Cri out of figerglass… Fiberglass is really strong, almost as light as aircraft grade aluminum if not slightly lighter,,, because if i find it convincing enough, i might want to try it out… I’ve got experience in building RV-4’s

Anyone know where I can find the specifications of the Cri Cri? I am interested in things like range, wing loading, and handling qualities.

I see some very impressive aerobatics but often times a plane that is good for aerobatics is not very stable for cruise flight.

Any comments?

There used to be an airshow display act in the UK where a piston Cri Cri landed on top of a van. They aint big!

@Montana: Sounds like a cool plan although it could hurt should you run in to engine problems and have to make an abrupt landing.

The French Colomban Cri Cri has been around since the mid 70`s and originally had 2 tiny piston engines. It is a kit plane, semi aerobatic and there are over 110 flying, mainly in France.
I don`t know if the jet engines are a standard fit but it seems to make sense to me!

If we ever get rid of our cars, the Cri Cri would be the way to go. Imagine traveling without having to drive around obstacles and without having to stop at all the stop signs! I go nuts when I get caught in a traffic jam. The last time I got caught in a traffic jam I just turned around and went home.
