Long gone are CDs and cassette decks in cars. Blaupunkt now offer a car stereo head unit with an SD card slot in the front panel. The model is the Melbourne SD27 which can play music directly from the SD/MMC card. Also there is a Plug and Play input for portable audio players. If you do not have an SD or MMC card and prefer to use an iPod then they have you covered as it has an optional iPod interface. Bluetooth is also another option which I assume is to connect your mobile phone for hands free use.
It seems like Blaupunkt have done a good job with this model and it should cater for most peoples MP3 needs.
