TempoHousing has a new innovative way of creating a home for you. Each of their homes is built out of a standard freight container (the type you see daily on the back of lorries). I don't know if I could imagine living in one of these though. Each one has standard dimensions of 40' x 8' x 8'6" which is large enough to fit a bedroom, small kitchen and living room area. What ads to this is the ability to move home literally. As the containers are standard size it does not require much effort to load one up and set up in another country. With 8000 being able to squeeze on to a ship there is plenty of space for you to put your home should you not like your current surroundings.
The unit is 332.9 square feet and has heating, a balcony. Windows are an option as well as air con.
It's not something I could live in, but no doubt someone will
