Chord Electronics have created the Indigo. The Indigo is named by Chord as an Advanced DAC. In simple terms it is a rather large but cool iPod dock. The Indigo doesn’t just do iPod type stuff though and is way more advanced then other docks you see. It has a built in wireless radio link option and can stream any audio signal (including those from your iPod) to any A2DP bluetooth enabled device. Inputs on the rear inclie SPDIF, AES, Optical, USB, iPod and Bluetooth audio.
The Chord Indigo costs just over $12000, so it’s not for your average home. I am not even convinced for 1 minute that the average person should bother saving up for one either as it really is designed for more of an elite club or something
