More iPad 3 rumours are floating around today. The specifics reveal that there will only be a 16GB and 32GB iPad 3 launched next week with no mention of a 64GB or 128GB version. As well as those two models, which we assume is split in to WiFi and WiFi+3G for each, we also hear that an 8GB iPad 2 will go on sale with a reduced price.

Of course, we doubt this is the case. What we believe will happen is that Apple will sell off all iPad 2 stock at a reduced price (perhaps $100 saving), as well as launch the regular three models of the iPad 3 which means a 16GB, 32GB and 64GB although due to more of a HD approach with a Retina display and perhaps larger cameras we might see the 16GB model dropped and a 128GB model added to the end. We also believe that Apple will opt for the iPad to be a world-tablet rather than separate Verizon and GSM models.
