Robotic Etch-A-Sketch Clock
March 9, 2008

This is a style of clock I have never seen before. This clock uses a laptop, circuit board and an Etch-A-Sketch hooked up to a couple of stepper motors. Each and every minute the etch-a-sketch is flipped upside down automatically, rotated right way up and then the current hour and minutes are redrawn on the screen with in about 20 seconds. At the minute mark this process is repeated.
Turntable Watch
January 22, 2008

The Turntable Watch is designed to look like a Technics 1200 turntable. The clock hands rotate to turn the time, but unfortunately you cannot scratch mini records on it. The Turntable watch comes in a cool case too which looks like a miniature flight case. It costs just $59 and is available from TurntableLab.

Rolling Clock
January 18, 2008

The rolling clock is just as unique as the cube clock we wrote about a couple of weeks back. This clock has a weight inside which causes the clock to roll around the desk with the time hitting the table. The time on the clock isn’t accurate either. No minutes can be found and it uses a simple way by saying, it’s almost 7pm etc…
The rolling clock is 9″ in diameter and costs $179 from gnr8.
