Canon VIXIA HF20 / HF200 to get Waterproof Case

Canon are launching a new waterproof camera case that will protect the VIXIA HF20 and HF200 models.

Both the VIXIA HF20 and HF200 are HD format camcorders that write to flash memory. With the addition of this case it will allow those users to film in more rugged places without the worry of damaging the camera. The cases are fully waterproof and allow the camera to work at depths of 130 feet.

The VIXIA HF20/HF200 waterproof case does come at a price though and will set you back a hefty $599 when it is launched in May.
