Recently there have been pictures of a Canon EOS 50D camera being displayed on a few gadget sites. Some claimed they were fake, others believed they were real. Canon has now given an official announcement… and the EOS 50D is real.
The latest camera is the 50D and is features a 15.1 megapixel sensor making this DSLR very nice indeed. As well as all the usual features found in a DSLR camera, the EOS 50D has an expanded ISO range which goes from 100 all the way up to 12800. The viewfinder has a .95% magnification, or you can opt to view on the 3 inch LCD screen.
Overall it is another great digital camera from Canon. The price is expected to be $1399 for the body only or if you opt for a lens included it goes up to $1599. The lens included in that package is the IF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM.
