Bowlingual Dog Translator

bow-lingualBowlingual is a gadget that first made an appearance in 2002. It was created by Takara Tomy and is set for re-release again this year.

Back in 2002, Tomy managed to sell 300000 units. The gadget works by you attaching a microphone around the dogs neck. Once connected the mic will pick up sounds from when the dog barks, it will then relay that information to a remote control which then interprets the bark in to the dogs emotion.

6 emotions are possible with this device which are calculated depending on the bark acoustics. It's a crazy gadget to be honest and one I really can't see working too well. The re-release of Bowlingual will cost $213 when launched in Japan and luckily for us lot on this side of the world we probably wont get to see it.
