Slashgear have written a nice report on the BluOnyx mobile content server. The BluOnyx has a number of storage solutions from 1Gb to 40Gb and is the perfect idea for those who need to share information and have a mobile and portable backup solution for their data. It is around 85mm by 54mm in size and ranges from 6mm to 15mm in thickness depending on which storage option you choose. Connectivity on the BluOnyx V.1 is provided currently by USB, SD and Bluetooth. Version .2 of the device is set to add wireless connectivity to the mix.
Data such as contacts, callendar, media and others can be stored on the device and video files can be streamed to your mobile device. If you are switching mobile phones then this is also an excellent option as at the touch of a few buttons you can restore contact information and photos to your new phone. With up to 40Gb of storage this is also an ideal solution for an office type situation where a number of people need to share contact information and other peices of information.
