BlueAnt InterPhone for Riders

Interphone
We recently wrote about the BlueAnt SuperTooth Light which gave its impression as a great device for drivers. However, for bikers the Supertooth light is not going to work. BlueAnt already have an answer for this problem in the way of the InterPhone. The InterPhone is a small device which clips to the side of your motorbike helmet and connects up to your mobile phone via Bluetooth, or to another InterPhone up to 490 feet away. This allows you to have 2 way communication with other riders or your passenger and then switch to your mobile phone should you need to make a call. Check out the technical specs and the video after the jump.

The device is wireless, water resistant and windproof allowing it to work in the most demanding riding situations. The device can be used up to 80mph where the noise would get too much to hear. What stands out as well is the impressive standby and talk time. The device when fully charged (which takes 4 hours) can last for 10 hours of talk time and up to 700 hours of standby time allowing you to take this on the road without too much worry of loosing power.

Overall I am impressed with this device and it would make a great addition to your biking experience while on the road. The device will set you back $189 and is available from BlueAnt.
