We recently spoke about the new and upcoming Blackberry Storm from Reseach In Motion (RIM). Well, we can now reveal that in the UK it is to be sold exclusively at Phones4u.
It’s fair to say that the Storm is not a million miles away from the iPhone in features. Many say that the iPhone is a media device, and not good for business use, whereas the Storm is claiming to excel in both areas.
The 3.25″ display has a resolution of 480×360 making viewing videos and pictures a real joy. The Storm also features an accelerometer for auto rotation between portrait and landscape modes. The Storm is operated through a Touchscreen, which slightly depresses when touched, and provides a ‘click’ noise to give an intuitive feel to typing. Typing on the Storm features SureType® when in portrait mode, and a full QWERTY keyboard for landscape mode.
The device includes a healthy 1GB onboard memory, with MicroSD Card support. One of my favourite features of the phone is the fact that it can integrate with iTunes, allowing easy syncing of music which can be played on the devices Media Player.
If you want a Blackberry Storm, and I think you’d be crazy not to, get yourself to Phones4u this November and pick one up.
