BenQ have released pricing on their BW1000 Blu-ray burner. It will be priced at just over $1000 USD.
It is capable of writing discs at 2x speed (BD-R) and DVD's between 4 - 12x with CD's burning at 32x. It will play back content at a full 1920 x 1080 resolution. The drive has some features such as vibration dampening to help with data intefrity.
