The BeamBox Essential G2 is a portable LED bulb projector that can throw a screen with a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. It weighs just 75 grams and the LED bulb produces a brightness around 20 lumens. The bulb it's self lasts for around 30000 hours.
The mini projector is powered by a standard USB 2.0 port and the same USB port is also used to transmit the images from your laptop or PC. An interesting feature of the G2 is it's ability to be used as a primary or secondary monitor which of course, is just powered by the USB port requiring no extra connectors or wires to work.
The image projected can measure up to about 73" at a 3 meter throw distance. The G2 does not include a battery, so if using as a standalone device then a USB power connector is needed to keep it powered. The unit has 1GB of storage capacity to save presentations, image and video on to if needed. The same storage is also used as flash memory if needed so that you don't have to carry around a separate USB flash drive.
