If you head on over to eBay you will see an electric powered DeLorean for sale. The seller claims it to be the worlds fastest and longest range electric DeLorean.
The car was built in 1981 and is a DMC-12 that has been converted to run on electric power. For those who are wondering, it can achieve over 88MPH 
This amazing car is powered by thirteen 12 volt 100 amp-hour deep cycle Deka 9A31 Intimidator AGM batteries.
On a single charge the DeLorean can travel up to 40 miles. Recharging takes around 2 – 3 hours with a built in charger that needs connecting up to 220V. If your supply only gives you 110V then you will have to wait 8 hours for the charge cycle to complete.
