AT&T Launches Several new Phones

at-t-launch-new-phonesAT&T are launching a few new phones next month which include the LG Xenon, LG Neon, Samsung Impression, Samsung Propel, Samsung Magnet and Nokia E71x. The phones will be appearing in stores mostly during April starting with the Samsung Impression on 7th April.

Nokia E71x Features

The Nokia E71x is to be the thinnest smartphone on the market. It is based on the S60 Sybian operating system. Connectivity wise it has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0 EDR, HSDPA up to 3.6MBps. It has an aGPS unit built in as well as AT&T Navigator software. It measures just 10mm thin and is aimed at both personal and business users. A 3.2 megapixel camera is also built in. When launched it will cost $99.99 which we assume is with a 18 or more then likely, a 24 month contract.

Samsung Propel Pro

The Propel Pro from Samsung offers a full QWERTY keyboard and runs Windows Mobile 6.1. It has Wi-Fi built in. The phone comes in silver and chrome and is a compact slider phone which seems to be fully feature packed. It will cost $149.99 when launched.

Samsung Impression Features

The Samsung Impression has the first commercially available AMOLED screen built in. This type of screen makes it very clear and very bright. A full QWERTY keyboard slides out to the left from underneath and although it has a slide out keyboard, it still manages to keep relatively thin. It comes in metallic blue and the front face is all touchscreen except for 3 buttons at the bottom of the screen. A 3 megapixel camera is built in and the screen measures 3.2 inches. It will cost $199.99 when launched.

LG Xenon Features

The LG Xenon is another phone with a full QWERTY keyboard that slides out from underneath. The Xenon is a 3G phone that has a 2 megapixel camera. AT&T Navigator can be used on this phone. Napster Mobile, eMusic Mobile and others can be used. It will become available in black, blue or red and will cost $99.99 when launched.

LG Neon Features

The LG Neon is a low cost touchscreen device. It has a full QWERTY keyboard that slides out to the right from underneath. It has a 2 megapixel camera and allows access to instant messaging, mobile eMail and internet. No price has been given for this phone just yet although they do mention it will be a low cost device.

Samsung Magnet Features

Finally we have the Samsung Magnet. This device has a small QWERTY keyboard towards the bottom of the device. The Magnet is another low cost mobile phone that allows for quick messaging. It has a WAP browser and an integrated camera. No price has been given yet for this phone either.
