Asus have officially announced their Eee Top ET1602 and ET1603 PC’s. They are described as Intuitive and interactive touchscreen PC’s with near silent operation.
Both Eee Top PC’s support a 1.3 megapixel camera, a built in microphone and speakers. The touch screen allows for easy navigation around menus. The advantages of the Eee Top PC’s is that they are portable too. The screen has everything built in and all it requires is just a power outlet to power the thing. No extra cables are needed as Wi-fi is used to get you on the internet. A keyboard and mouse are also used which are small and appear also to be wireless or bluetooth (meaning no wires there either).
Asus will allow shipping of the ET1602 and ET1603 from the 20th November in the UK. A launch date for the US is not available just yet.
They do look like fantastic little machines capable of quite a lot. Will they see the success of the Asus Eee laptops though?
