Asus EEE PC 900 16GB Discount

The Asus Eee PC 900 16GB model has just received a discount over at Amazon recently taking the netbook down to just $279 which is a fantastic price. The Eee 900 has an 8.9 inch screen, a 16GB SSD rather than a hard drive and 1GB of RAM. The netbook weighs a relatively light 2 lbs.

Connectivity wise the Asus 900 netbook has Wi-Fi at b/g speeds, a microSD port, several USB ports and a VGA output allowing it to be connected to an external monitor or projector if needed.

Above the screen a mini 1.3 megapixel webcam is integrated allowing Skype or other messenger service video calls to be made. Windows XP Home is pre-installed on the system that allows you to run the many programs that you also enjoy on your desktop or laptop computer.
