Asus have launched their new netbook. Asus 1101HA is the name of it and is the first seashell netbook to have over an 11″ display. The 11.6″ screen has a WXGA resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels making it HD.
An Atom Z520 processor powers the device and it comes with 1GB of RAM, a GMA 500 integrated graphics chip, a 160GB hard drive and 3 USB 2.0 ports.
Also included on the 1101HA seashell is a 1.3 megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, Bluetooth and audio jacks. Battery life on this netbook is impressive with the 6 cell battery being capable of keeping it powered for up to 11 hours. It will ship with Windows 7 (so expect shipping to start this month) and will cost $429.99. Although the Asus 1101HA hasn’t made it to our best netbooks list I suspect it will show up soon after some sufficient sales have been calculated.
