Arduino Nano
May 19, 2008
Arduino is an open-source prototyping platform. The Nano version of Arduino is the latest version to arrive which packs in all the same features in to a smaller space. It is built by Gravitech and can perform all the same functions as the Arduino Diecimila. The nano has an ATmega168 microcontroller with a bootloader onboard, USB, i/o pins, analogue inputs all on it’s tiny board.
By attaching a bunch of sensors it allows you to create all sorts of cool electronic tricks. All you then need to do is write the code and away you go. Obviously this isn’t for the non techy type. The Nano is about the size of a pack of chewing gum, ie… fairly small.
