Archos have confirmed that September 15th is the day they are officially announcing their new Android powered Tablet.
Along with the launch, Archos have now launched AppsLib that is an application store for high-end Android devices such as the tablet mentioned here and other potential netbooks that will run the Android OS.
The Archos has been named the Archos 5 through out the reported specs and has a 5 inch WVGA screen, 720p HD support, HDMI output and has natively embedded OpenGL libraries. Earlier details revealed that it will have up to 500GB of storage and a 7 hour battery life as well as 3.5G connectivity built in.
The Archos Android Tablet is well worth waiting to see next month when officially revealed. When images of the device appear we will post them on the site. Via: Pocketables
