Philips ‘In Touch’ Message Board

Philips have been mentioned a couple of times in the last few days. The most recent I wrote about was the Philips Entertaible which is an LCD touch screen for playing board games.

The next item I recently read about over at OhGizmo is the Philips In Touch message board. The message board is currently a concept idea but could be something very useful to have around the home. This device is an LCD based mirror which can display notes, images and video’s. When you receive the item you can configure it for use by everyone in the home and you have a bunch of thumbnails on the screen which you tap to open up your own profile. Another great built in feature is the use of MMS and SMS in which you can contact family members when they are away from home. I assume that this feature can also be used as an alarm system to text if you have forgotten to look at appointments for the day.

Overall I am impressed with Philips idea’s over these last few days and look forwards to some nice house hold type gadgets to hit the shelves soon.
