Rumours are moving around again saying that Apple will be launching a touchscreen netbook in the second half of this year. The screen is thought to be provided by Wintek and the new information seems to indicate that it will measure between 9.7 and 10 inches.
The netbook will be built by Quanta Computer Inc who are the worlds largest netbook maker. According to the Dow Jones the Apple Netbook could be with us by the second half of this year.
It is no surprise that Apple are wanting to tackle this market. Although last year it seems they were completely against it. They have done well with the iPhone and broken in to a very competitive market by making a sleek device. There are many Apple fans around the world and I personally think Apple could be in for a winner should these rumours be true. No doubt it will look fantastic.
