Apple iPhone OS 4.0 Beta 4 Hints at Flash and Camera for iPad and iPod

When Apple [AAPL] launched iPhone OS 4.0 Beta 4 a new feature was found that indicated the iPhone could be used for tethering with a connected computer via USB or Bluetooth.

After some investigating, some developers have found information regarding a flash for the iPhone, iPad and iPod where a message says "The iPad needs to cool down before you can use the flash.", repeated 3 times with iPod and iPhone.

This gives a strong indication that future models of the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch will get cameras and a flash. We already have seen the iPhone 4G and all the camera details thanks to Gizmodo taking one apart. Yesterday we also came across an iPod Touch with a built in 2 megapixel camera although we have not seen an iPad with a camera just yet (of course it's way too early for that). But interestingly enough, when the iPad was torn down it did show what looked to be a place for where a camera would sit.

The image below shows the text relating to a flash in the Beta 4 build of iPhone OS 4.0 while the image below that shows the iPhone and iPod with camera related information.
