Recently, Flash was ported to the iPhone. This was achieved by comex who also is behind the Spirit untethered jailbreak.
Next up we see that the Apple iPad now has Flash and has been dubbed Frash. The Flash iPad update allows users to load up .SWF files in the Safari browser and play them as though the iPad fully supported it.
The Flash version running has been ported over from Android and had a compatibility layer added.
Frash is a port of the Adobe Flash runtime for Android to the iPhone, using a compatibility layer, by comex ( http://twitter.com/comex ). Frash can currently run most Flash programs natively in the MobileSafari browser. Frash currently only runs on the iPad, but support for other devices (3GS+ only due to technical restrictions) is planned, as well as support for iOS 4.
A release date hasn't been provided just yet although we have been told that when the software is stable, it will be released and will be capable of being installed on those who jailbreak their iPad.
Steve Jobs made it clear recently that iOS devices will not run Flash. For those who want it you'll need to resort to the above methods to get it although some companies such as Cisco are working on pushing out flash content from a server side setup. It isn't clear when that will be released yet.
