Android Ice Cream Smartphones Leaked in Dell Roadmap

The roadmap for smartphones built by Dell has leaked, thanks to WPCentral.

What we learn is that several new devices will be launching this year, and to add to that roadmap, we see that two of them will be running a new version of Google Android that hasn’t been formally announced just yet. That is Android Ice Cream.

Before we get to the Android Ice Cream smartphones, lets first look at the devices that are coming sooner rather than later. The roadmap below gives details of what to expect.

The first on the list is the Venue and Venue Pro which we already know about. We also see details of the Venue Pro MLK listed on there.

The first new device listed is the Dell Wrigley that is a Window Phone 7 Next Gen device that will run a 1GHz processor, have a 4 inch WVGA screen and have an 8MP camera capable of 720p. What makes this stand out more is that it is classed as a Windows Phone 7 Next Gen device which could mean a major WP7 update is due out in the coming months.

Next, we move on to the Dell Hancock that is a dual-core device running Android Ice Cream. If you remember, Ice Cream will bring Honeycomb to the Smartphone and bring one line of updates that will work on tablets and smartphones. The specs show it has a 4 inch screen, two cameras with the 8MP camera on the back capable of capturing 1080p video. The one on the front is 1.3 megapixels.

Finally, we move on to the Dell Millennium which has a slightly larger 4.3 inch screen, but has a VGA camera on the front. The one on the back is the same 8 megapixels.

Expect to see more details revealed over the coming months. We are specifically looking out for Next Gen WP7 and the Ice Cream smartphones.
