This Blu-Ray burner is built for laptops. It requires no external power source as it can draw the power it needs from the USB port on your computer. Amex Digital have created this burner and I have to say, it looks very sleek.
The drive is capable of accepting both 8cm and 12cm discs. It is slot loading. It does have a couple of downsides though…
You only get 2x BD-R/E (25GB single layer), 1x BD-R/E (50GB double layer) and 2x BD-ROM, and at which speed will take a while for Iron Man to start rolling.
The Amex Digital burner is available in black or white and costs $269. From what Everything USB have reported, it seems like BD movie playback is not possible on Leopard as some software is missing. If you are a PC user then you should get along just fine with this drive.
