AMD have launched some new software named AMD Fusion Media Explorer or FME for short. FME in AMD’s words is a new 3D Immersive Social Media and Digital Media Browser.
The software is designed to make media browsing look better. The system uses a ribbon effect to let you scroll through your audio and video content stored on your PC. As well as capturing your off line content, it can also be configured to work with your online content from sites such as Flickr, Youtube and Facebook.
AMD Fusion Media Explorer Key Features
* Explore – Explore your digital media content, from multiple local and online sources, in a quick and easy to use browser.
* Experience – Experience your media in a more exciting 3D, immersive application
* Discover – Discover new related photos, and videos, pertaining to what you are currently looking at or listening to.
The FME software has been developed to make full use of AMD’s Phenom II and Turion Ultra processors along with ATI premium graphics cards.
