A4 Sized ePaper

ePaper
LG has launched another ePaper device. It measures about the size of an A4 sheet of paper and is also bendable. This ePaper is very thin at 0.3 millimetres (300 micrometres) and it is capable of displaying 4096 colours. ePaper is designed to be energy efficient allowing the image to stay on the screen even when power is removed. The ePaper only draws on power when the image needs to change.

I am looking forwards to the progress of ePaper and seeing how it all pans out. It will be great to see the day where moving images can be rolled up in your pocket and be found on the side of packaging.
