Nokia recently announced that 7 new entry level phones will soon hit the Indian market. The model numbers are 1200, 1208, 1650, 2660, 2505, 2630 and 2760. The 1200 and 1208 version allow for the new phone sharing and call tracking technology and are aimed towards those who will be buying their first mobile phone. The next pair of phones are the 1650 and 2660 which add a more attractive design to the basic functions. Moving on to the 2505 this is a folding style aimed at the CDMA market. The phone has a smooth back and has a sleek design although from the pictures I have seen it is pink. Hopefully other colours will be made available.
The Nokia 2630 caught my attention the most as it is just 9.9mm thick which isnt really thick if you think about it. This ranks as one of the thinnest mobile phones around.
The phones are quite cheap and will costs between EUR 35 and EUR 90 although I am not sure converted in to Indias currency if that is cheap or not for someone living in India.
