Digital Photo Frames are a cool way of displaying family photos on the wall. With them having an LCD screen it allows you to show many photos in sequence on the screen rather then just being stuck with a static picture that has been in the frame for several years. Since photo frames have been released a few years back, they have come down in price, gone up in size and extra features have been added on such as wireless or Bluetooth connectivity allowing for quick transfer of photo’s to the frame with out taking it off the wall.
With Christmas around the corner, and the prices dropping I thought it would be good to create a list of 5 digital photo frames that come in just under £50.

5. Costing £44.98 is the 7″ CiBox C107 Digital Photo Frame. The 7″ screen is an active matrix display which has a 16:9 aspect ratio. It has a remote control, plays MP3 (audio), MP4 (video) and supports many formats of memory card. Unfortunately this is the most expensive but does not support wireless or Bluetooth connectivity.

4. Costing £44.55 is the Datawrite 5.6-Inch Digital Photo Frame. This frame features wireless technology allowing Bluetooth transfer from a mobile phone or PC. The screen is 5.6″ and the photo frame supports video formats and many image formats. 128Mb of internal memory is included as well as the option to plug in your memory card to transfer files direct from your camera.
3. Costing £44.00 is the BluView 5.6-Inch Digital Photo Frame. Yes, it’s practically identical to the former but is 55 pence cheaper
Just the name appears to be different.

2. Costing £43.00 is the 7″ COSKIN – CKT-771CT Digital Photo Frame. This frame connect by USB 2.0 only which can be a pain having to take the photo down from the wall, although that wont need to happen too often as it takes memory cards in various formats and can play back the video, audio and pictures. Resolution of the 7″ screen is 480 x 234.

1. Costing just £39.99 is the Misco Saver 7″ Digital Photo Frame. The frame has all the usual standard stuff such as memory card slots, MP3 and video playback as well as photos. USB connectivity is an option allowing you to connect direct from your PC.
Conclusion
With there not being too much difference in price it seems to all boil down to what you are willing to sacrifice. The larger 7″ digital photo frames for under £50 do not have wireless connectivity. If you want wireless for under £50 you need to sacrifice 2 inches of screen for this. If that doesn’t bother you then just go for the one which looks best
