Take a look at the video below as it shows a rather good looking concept iPad model. The device has an edge to edge screen and is capable of being connected up to another iPad to make the screen estate double the size.
Of course, this is just a concept for now although we might expect to see devices like this in the next decade (a totally random guess).

A new security loophole has been found in iOS 5 that could potentially allow any app, coded correctly, to gain access to photos stored on your device. The loophole is related to how iOS handles the Camera Roll and how it is possible to let apps have access to that camera roll.

Sony has announced that the PlayStation Vita has now had sales move past the 1.2 million mark since launch. These figures represent worldwide and not just a single country.
Sony reached 1.2 million on February 22 when it went on sale in the US and Europe which means it is likely to be a fair bit higher now. As well as shifting over 1.2 million portable games consoles, Sony has also shifted over 2 million games for the device.

With the iPad 3 invitation landing in a number of mailboxes around the world yesterday, it is clear that Apple will be launching an iPad 3 within the next few weeks. With that in mind, retailers are now beginning to drop the price of the iPad 2 in anticipation of the next generation model coming out.

Apple could be working on a new file format that will use what is now called "adaptive streaming". The new technology is believed to coming to the iTunes Match and iCloud services and will see iTunes files currently stored in AAC format changed to HD versions. With adaptive streaming, it allows those with high bandwidth access and enough storage space to have HD versions streamed. When bandwidth degrades a little, the file is switched to a lower quality version.

Apple has sent out invites to an event that will be held on March 7 at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater in San Francisco. The invite has the line "We have something you really have to see. And touch.". Behind that message appears to be a higher resolution iPad 3.

Nokia has now launched the Nokia 808 PureView for pre-order in the UK. The new 41 megapixel smartphone has been given a possible release date of April 23 although this isn't set in stone just yet.

It appears that the HTC One X will be released in the UK on April 5th. The One X follows on in the new series of One devices from HTC and at launch, it will be the companies most powerful smartphone available. It runs a quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 chip inside.

Samsung has announced the Samsung Galaxy Beam smartphone. The device is a little unique in that it has a built in pico projector allowing up to a 50 inch nHD screen to be projected on to any surface.

Rovio has announced that Angry Birds Space will be getting a multi-platform worldwide launch on March 22. What that means is that the new version of Angry Birds will be launching on iOS, Android, PC and Mac next month. The event will kick off at 3pm for those of us in the UK.

A new Wifi version of the Galaxy S has been announced by Samsung. The new device is called the Galaxy S Wifi 4.2 and comes with a 4.2 inch screen that uses IPS TFT technology and has a WVGA resolution.
