16GB SDHC Card

Lots of storage is needed for all the photos, videos and MP3s that we cart around daily. Microdia have built a 16GB SDHC card which is capable of running at a speed of 160x. This is an incredible amount of data to be squeezed on to a card that size. As well as being an SDHC card we also know that these cards are safe from general use as it is dustproof, waterproof and can handle higher temperatures then normal.

16GB of memory on a card that size does not come cheap unfortunately. A card of this capacity might set you back $3500 if rumours are to be believed. As I mentioned on previous posts, the higher capacity cards will eventually show up and the price of the 16GB card will drop to a more affordable level. Just give it a year or so and all will be good.
