If you ever wanted to paint pictures with a paintball gun then you probably realise that it would take a while painting 1 pixel at a time. Mythbusters decided to create for NVIDIA a paintball gun with 1100 barrels so that a full painting could be made in just 1 shot. The Mythbusters created this 1100 barrel gun to explain the difference between a CPU and a GPU. Il Mythbusters creato questo 1100 barile pistola a spiegare la differenza tra una CPU e una GPU. When a CPU is used to render graphics it is done one step at a time where as when a GPU is used it can handle many tasks at a time. Although it’sa completely over the top way of showing a point you have to love watching all 1100 barrels shooting out a picture at the same time. When I first watched the video I was amazed at how instant it was - and the quality of the picture. Quando ho guardato il video mi ha stupito il modo in cui essa è stata istantanea - e la qualità delle foto. How those paintballs all came out exactly straight without colliding with each other or messing each other up I don’t know. It is surprising Chris. E 'sorprendente Chris. I wonder if it’s to do with having the long barrels and it being just a few feet to the canvas. Mi chiedo se è a che fare con l'avere il tempo di barili e che sia a pochi metri di tela. It would be good to see if it could do the same at 25M away. Sarebbe bene per vedere se si potesse fare lo stesso a 25M di distanza.
